Cryogenic Air Sepration Plants

Cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU) are commonly used to produce Nitrogen with very high purities –up to 99.999%. The Air Separation Unit separates atmospheric air into its primary components, typically Nitrogen and Oxygen, as well other rare inert gases. This is the most common method used for air separation.

ASU’s are utilised by industrial processes that require large quantities of very high purity gas and are located near to the point of use. Clients will often sell their excess gas to surrounding local sites to subsidise the cost of their own production.
